Q: Is there a charge to move the domain name away from Freeparking?

A: None at all. Many companies on the Internet will charge you a fee to transfer your domain name to another host. We don't.

It's yours from the word go, you can move it anywhere you like, at any time you like.

Q: Who are listed as the contacts for a Domain Name?

A: Depending upon the type of domain, there can be up to four contacts for a domain name.

First is the Registrant. This is either you or your client. The registrant is effectively the legal owner of a domain name.

Next is that Admin Contact. This is whomever you choose to list. The admin contact will be responsible for the overall control of the domain. We or the registry may need to use this contact if the domain is to be moved or renewed, so ensure this is an e-mail address that is not going to become obsolete. Also it is very important to ensure that you keep these details up to date.

Next comes the Technical Contact. By default we are listed as the Technical Contact as it is we who are running the name servers etc. used by the domain name.

Finally the Billing Contact. Again, as it is us paying the registration and renewal fees to the central registry, it is we that are listed as the billing contact.
