They also provide us with credit card handling facilities for UK £ (Sterling) credit card transactions to allow you to pay for your domain registrations in sterling. Q: How do I update my credit card details? A: The system stores the last credit card that you used. You can either wait until you make a new Domain Name purchase, or a Domain Name renewal purchase, and amend the details at that point, or you can visit the "1-Click & WAP" section of the Freeparking members area. You can also remove your credit card details from our system by visiting the 1-Click and WAP section. A: Our credit card authorisation company has implemented stricter anti-fraud measures due to the high level of credit card fraud on the Internet. Unfortunately this may mean that some legitimate customers cannot get authorisation. Because the system is fully automated we do not have influence over which cards are or are not authorised. If the authorisation of your credit card has been rejected by the Credit Card clearing house, there is nothing that we can do - even if you believe that there is sufficient funding on your card. If you are receiving error messages other than "Authorisation Declined" type messages, we obviously need to know about this because in rare instances, there can be problems with the connection between our credit card processors and the authorising bank. |
